UNIDAD 6  TEMA 2 PRESENTE SIMPLE


Para conjugar el presente simple usamos el infinitivo para los sujetos “I”, “you”, “we” y “they” y para las terceras personas “he”, “she” y “it”, añadimos una “-s” al final del verbo.

he, she, ittalks, eats, learns, does, goes…
Nota: Hay excepciones de ortografía en la tercera persona, según la letra en que termina el verbo. Las reglas son las mismas que se utilizan para formar el plural de los sustantivos. Para más información, ver la lección sobre los nombres.

ructure (Estructura)

1. Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)
Sujeto + verbo.
Ejemplos:
 I talk.(Yo hablo.)
 He eats.(Él come.)
 They learn.(Ellos aprenden.)
2. Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to do) + auxiliar negativo (“not”) + verbo.
Ejemplos:
 I do not [don’t] talk.(Yo no hablo.)
 He does not [doesn’t] eat.(Él no come.)
 They do not [don’t] learn.(Ellos no aprenden.)

Nota: En frases negativas, el verbo auxiliar (“to do”) cambia y el verbo principal va en el infinitivo.


Ejemplos:
  • She reads the newspaper every day. (Ella lee el periódico cada día)
  • We come to school by bus. (Nosotros vamos a la escuela en autobús)
  • You work very hard. ...
  • She likes to sit in the sun. ...
  • We play in the park every day. ...
  • He watches his son in the park. ...
  • We always try to arrive on time. ...
  • He always walks to school.

EJERCICOS

Ben works in a hospital. 
Do you like fish? 
She does not teach / doesn't teach English. 
Does she play football? 
We do not live / don't live in a big house. 
Samantha plays tennis twice a week.

unidad 5  tema 1 COMO USAR ‘THERE IS’ Y ‘THERE ARE’ There is/ There’s (singular) – hay / existe There are (plural) – hay / existen “There is”, “there are” y los tiempos verbales La estructura es fácil, basta con conjugar el verbo “to be” en el tiempo que deseas usar:   THERE + VERBO TO BE Veamos algunos ejemplos en el Simple Present y en el Simple Past: There is/ There’s one chair in the room. (Hay una silla en la habitación.) At English Live, there are classes 24/7. (En English Live, hay clases 24/7.)   Last night there was a bird on my window. (Anoche había un pájaro en mi ventana.) There were few people at the meeting yesterd (Había pocas personas en la reunión de ayer.) IMAGENES  En el Simple Future (futuro simple), la estructura es igual para el singular y el plural, porque conjugamos el verbo TO BE en el futuro y, en este tiempo verbal, no varía: THERE + WILL + BE    EJEMPLOS  Tomorrow there will be two music festivals
